My goal was to explore existing working pipelines in Unreal Engine and establish my own by creating a series of environments that all work towards telling a story I wanted to tell. Each location presented a different challenge for me and required knowledge of new software.

In total I created 11 unique scenes. To be able to fully realize my initial ideas I had to learn how to create landscapes in GAEA and use them with landscape materials, use Unreal Niagara VFX system, foliage and water body systems, familiarize myself with EmberGen to create a realistic enough explosion and implement it in my scene using Unreal 5.3 new Heterogeneous Volumes workflow and finally learn how to make trees and foliage in SpeedTree.
